Sustainable Communication
Cultural Sensitivity (1.5 hours, Online)

Good communication is crucial for the implementation of a sustainability strategy. That also applies to your own company.

This is even more true when you leave your familiar environment and work with people who follow different cultural values and rules - for example in multinational teams along a supply chain.

How can communication take place when one's own habits suddenly no longer apply? What is culture, and to what extent does our communication depend on it? What images in our heads shape our thinking and how do we become aware of them?

Using communication models and cultural comparisons, our own reflections, and role-playing games, we will pursue these and other questions and try to develop cultural sensitivity.

We impart a basic understanding of culture and a range of practical tools that support our orientation in intercultural situations.
